Extended Care Curriculum

An extended care program takes place from 2pm to 6 pm. During this time there are two groups of students. The sleepers and the active group. The sleepers choose to rest due to long day of engagement. A sleeping room is provided with appropriate beds, covers and proper stimulation to relax the little ones. The nurse is present while the students are sleeping along with the cameras and audio inter communication that equip the room. The active group follows a program that aims to develop all areas of learning through creative activities and always according to the Montessori Principles. In detail the extended care program consists of several activities addressed to different ages and needs to improve Sensory Skills, Pre Linguistic Skills, Auditory and Visual Skills, Playing Skills, Pragmatic Skills, Comprehension and Expression.
